Photocopier and Photo booth:
Photographs and photocopies of supporting documents for your visa application can now be done at the visa application centres.
Please note: there is a fee for this service. This service is available in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Pretoria.
SMS service:

Courier return of passports:
Applicants can now avoid second trip to the visa application centre by opting for return of their processed applications by a courier service. This service is available at the visa application centres at a nominal charge of ZAR130 (inclusive of VAT) for single applications. Before going to the application centre,

Priority visa service
The UK Border Agency in South Africa will introduce a priority visa service in South Africa from 14 November 2011.
You will be able pay an additional fee to fast track your application and have your visa application processed ahead of others. Only a limited number of priority visas will be sold each day on a first come, first served basis.
The priority visa service will be available for UK visit visa categories only.
To apply for a priority visa you must complete and submit a UK visa application online as normal and visit 1 of the UK's visa application centres operated by VFS Global in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth or Pretoria where you will be able to obtain further details about the priority service.
This service does not imply or guarantee in any way that by using the priority service you will be successful in your visa application. All visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK Immigration rules. The amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa application fee, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or, in exceptional cases, takes longer to process.
You should be aware that you may experience extended processing times if any of the following factors apply, if you have:
- previously been refused a visa for the UK, and/or;
- previously been refused leave to enter the UK, and/or;
- previously been deported, removed, or otherwise required to leave the UK, and/or;
- overstayed a period of leave in the UK, and/or;
- been refused leave to remain in the UK by the Home Office, and/or;
- been refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United States of America or the
- Schengen countries
- been convicted of a criminal offence in any country.
