All visa application fees are payable for each applicant, including dependants. The fees are payable in South African Rand.

The acknowledgement of your visa fee payment will be valid for 15 working days from the date of payment and applicants must submit their visa applications within this period.

Payments

You can pay your visa application fee in the following 3 ways:

Electronic fund transfers (EFT), internet transfers, direct debit payments and any other mode of payment other than the above are not acceptable.

Please note the visa fees are subject to change.

Important: Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport.

Refunds: A fee will be refundable only if the application is withdrawn in writing prior to any processing of the application and biometrics have not been taken, or if the applicant refuses to provide biometrics. Refunds will not be given if long term visit visas are granted for less than the period applied for.

These fees are effective for all visa applications made from 12 July 2010. The consular rate of exchange is ZAR 12.00 to £1.
